The Copiah Academy Colonels basketball team scored 65 points and limited the visiting Park Place Christian Academy Crusaders to 41 in the Colonels non-league triumph on Monday.

The Colonels now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Jackson Prep for a non-league game on Saturday, November 16.

With the loss, Park Place Christian Academy falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Crusaders host Adams County Christian (Natchez, MS) to confront the Rebels in a non-league game on Thursday, November 14. The Rebels go into the game with a record of 1-0. Adams County Christian won 67-31 in their recent non-league game against Centreville Academy (Centreville, MS)
