Gateway Christian Warriors (Roswell, NM) fans went home in high spirits Monday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Clayton Yellowjackets (Clayton, NM), 69-18 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Gateway Christian improves its record to 7-2 on the season. The Warriors travel to Melrose (Melrose, NM) to play the Buffaloes in a non-league battle on Saturday, November 16. The Buffaloes go into the battle with a record of 11-0. Melrose won 58-6 in their recent non-league battle against Lordsburg (Lordsburg, NM)
The Yellowjackets now have a 8-3 record.
