The Parkland Matadors basketball team scored 43 points and limited the host Franklin Cougars to 34 in the Matadors non-league triumph on Monday.

The Matadors now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to El Paso for a non-league game on Saturday, November 16. Parkland will confront a Tigers team coming off a 51-48 non-league win over Eastlake (El Paso, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Franklin falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Hanks (El Paso, TX) to confront the Knights in a non-league game on Saturday, November 16. The Knights go into the game with a record of 1-1. Hanks won 45-28 in their recent non-league game against Andress (El Paso, TX)
