The Copiah Academy Colonels basketball team scored 43 points and limited the visiting Park Place Christian Academy Crusaders to 40 in the Colonels non-league triumph on Monday.

The Colonels now possess a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Lamar for a non-league game on Tuesday, November 12. Copiah Academy will confront a Raiders team coming off a 72-38 non-league win over Columbus Christian Academy (Steens, MS). The Raiders record now stands at 5-2.

With the loss, Park Place Christian Academy falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Crusaders host Adams County Christian (Natchez, MS) to confront the Rebels in a non-league game on Thursday, November 14. The Rebels go into the game with a record of 1-1. Adams County Christian won 40-19 in their recent non-league game against Central School (Grand Cane, LA)
