Georgia High School Basketball - Alcovy toppled by Salem

Salem Seminoles (Conyers, GA) backers were thrilled Tuesday as they saw their basketball team topple the visiting Alcovy Tigers (Covington, GA), 68-53 in a non-league game.
The Seminoles now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Mountain View for a non-league game on Friday, November 14. Salem will confront a Bears team coming off a 71-43 non-league loss to Apalachee (Winder, GA). The Bears record now stands at 1-2.
The Tigers (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Locust Grove (Locust Grove, GA). The Wildcats come into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Locust Grove overcame Mundy's Mill (Jonesboro, GA), 70-45, in a non-league test.
