North Carolina High School Basketball - Cary Academy nips Wesleyan Christian Academy

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Cary Academy Chargers basketball team scored a close 65-61 win over the Wesleyan Christian Academy Trojans.

With the victory, Cary Academy advances its record to 1-1 on the year. The Chargers travel to Carolina Day (Asheville, NC) to face the Wildcats in a non-league match on Friday, November 14. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 1-1. Carolina Day lost 89-57 in their recent non-league match against Calvary Day School (Winston-Salem, NC)

The Trojans now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Covenant Day for a non-league contest on Thursday, November 13. Wesleyan Christian Academy will battle a Lions team coming off a 84-32 non-league win over NorthPoint Christian Academy (Waxhaw, NC). The Lions record now stands at 1-0.
