Texas High School Basketball - John Paul II overwhelms Gloria Deo Academy

The John Paul II Guardians basketball team scored 83 points and limited the visiting Gloria Deo Academy Lions to 46 in the Guardians non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Guardians now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Great Hearts Western Hills for a non-league game on Friday, November 14. John Paul II will face a Spartans squad coming off a 55-42 non-league loss to Faith Academy (Victoria, TX). The Spartans record now stands at 0-1.

The Lions (0-2) will now prepare for their outing against San Marcos Academy (San Marcos, TX). The Bears enter the non-league outing with a 1-1 record. In their last outing, San Marcos Academy was overwhelmed by Savio (Austin, TX), 68-54, in a non-league outing.
