    River Ridge Knights (Woodstock, GA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Dawson County Tigers (Dawsonville, GA), 71-34 in a non-league bout.

    With the victory, River Ridge upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Knights host Cherokee (Canton, GA) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 17. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 1-0. Cherokee won 84-71 in their recent non-league bout against Centennial (Roswell, GA)

    Next up, the Tigers play the Flowery Branch Falcons (Flowery Branch, GA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 15. Dawson County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
