Wilkinson County Wildcats (Woodville, MS) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Tylertown Chiefs (Tylertown, MS), 1-0 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Wilkinson County upgrades its record to 1-3 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Lanier (Jackson, MS) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 15. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 2-3. Lanier won 59-52 in their recent non-league bout against Madison Central (Madison, MS)

Next up, the Chiefs play the Franklin County Bulldogs (Meadville, MS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 15. Tylertown will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 4-0 record after their 72-49 non-league win over North Pike (Summit, MS).
