In Saturday's non-league battle, the host James River Midlothian Rapids volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Indian River Braves.
The Rapids (5-1) will now prepare for their battle against Thomas Dale (Chester, VA). The Knights come into the non-league battle with a 4-0 record. In their last battle, Thomas Dale achieved victory over First Colonial (Virginia Beach, VA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
