    In Saturday's league match, the visiting Pickens Dragons basketball team scored a decisive 71-25 triumph over the Cherokee Bluff Bears.

    In their next game, the Dragons meet the Fannin County Rebels (Blue Ridge, GA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, November 19. Pickens will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record.

    With the defeat, Cherokee Bluff moves to 0-1 on the year. The Bears host Apalachee (Winder, GA) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league match on Tuesday, November 15. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 0-1. Apalachee lost 45-40 in their recent non-league match against Winder-Barrow (Winder, GA)
