The Sumter Central Jaguars basketball team (York, AL), was overwhelmed 60-32 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Quitman Panthers (Quitman, MS)

The Panthers now possess a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Jones for a non-league battle on Tuesday, November 15. Quitman will confront a Braves team coming off a 37-34 non-league win over Moss Point (Moss Point, MS). The Braves record now stands at 1-0.

The Jaguars (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Greene County (Eutaw, AL). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 2-0 record.
