In Saturday's non-league outing, the Vista Ridge Rangers (Cedar Park, TX) basketball squad nipped the host Steele Knights (Cibolo, TX), by a margin of 61-56.

The Rangers (5-2) will now prepare for their outing against Hendrickson (Pflugerville, TX). The Hawks go into the non-league outing with a 3-0 record. In their last outing, Hendrickson got by McNeil (Austin, TX), 77-50, in a non-league outing.
