Mississippi High School Basketball - Humphreys County holds off Kosciusko

The Humphreys County Cowboys basketball team scored 67 points and limited the visiting Kosciusko Whippets to 64 in the Cowboys non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cowboys now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they host West Bolivar for a non-league game on Friday, November 15. Humphreys County will confront a Eagles team coming off a 46-26 non-league loss to North Side (Shelby, MS). The Eagles record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Kosciusko falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Whippets travel to Leake Central (Carthage, MS) to confront the Gators in a non-league game on Friday, November 15. The Gators go into the game with a record of 2-1. Leake Central lost 71-33 in their recent non-league game against Jackson Prep (Jackson, MS)
