In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting West Jones Mustangs basketball team scored a big 62-28 win over the Collins Tigers.
The Mustangs (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Petal (Petal, MS). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Petal was trounced by Wayne County (Waynesboro, MS), 58-47, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Stone Tomcats (Wiggins, MS) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, November 19. Collins will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Tomcats come into the contest with a 1-2 record after their 46-31 non-league loss to Perry Central (New Augusta, MS).
