In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Kingwood Mustangs basketball team scored a good 67-49 triumph over the South Houston Trojans.
The Mustangs (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Benjamin Davis (Houston, TX). The Falcons go into the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Benjamin Davis was topped by Fort Bend Bush (Richmond, TX), 51-39, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Trojans battle the Shadow Creek Sharks (Pearland, TX) in a 6A Region III District 22 contest, on Friday, November 15. South Houston will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record. The Sharks go into the contest with a 6-1 record after their 60-49 non-league win over Iowa Colony (Iowa Colony, TX).
