Georgia High School Flag Football - Marietta can't hold off Sequoyah

Sequoyah Chiefs (Canton, GA) followers went home in high spirits Tuesday as they saw their flag football team tip the visiting Marietta Blue Devils (Marietta, GA), 20-14 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Sequoyah advances its record to 11-8 on the season. The Chiefs host Creekview (Canton, GA) to play the Grizzlies in a D3 Area 6 battle on Thursday, November 14. The Grizzlies go into the battle with a record of 3-9. Creekview lost 20-0 in their recent league battle against Pope (Marietta, GA)
The Blue Devils now own a 9-6 record. They play next when they travel to Pace Academy for a non-league battle on Monday, November 18. Marietta will play a Knights team coming off a 40-0 non-league win over Scholars Guild Academy (Loganville, GA). The Knights record now stands at 15-1.
