Oxford Prep Griffins (Oxford, NC) supporters left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Franklin Academy Patriots (Wake Forest, NC), 47-46 in a non-league contest.
The Griffins (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against East Wake Academy (Zebulon, NC). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, East Wake Academy was tipped by Thales Academy Flowers Plantation (Clayton, NC), 48-31, in a non-league contest.
