Illinois High School Basketball - Lake Forest Academy can't hold off Lake Forest

The Lake Forest Scouts basketball team scored 64 points and held the host Lake Forest Academy Caxys to 63 in the Scouts non-league triumph on Monday.
The Scouts now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Elk Grove for a non-league contest on Wednesday, November 15. Lake Forest will battle a Grenadiers team coming off a 42-17 non-league loss to Vernon Hills (Vernon Hills, IL). The Grenadiers record now stands at 0-1.
The Caxys (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Guilford (Rockford, IL). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Guilford nudged Antioch (Antioch, IL), 56-41, in a non-league contest.
