Franklin Academy Patriots (Wake Forest, NC) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host New Life Camp Storm (Raleigh, NC), 39-36 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Franklin Academy upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Patriots host Oxford Prep (Oxford, NC) to play the Griffins in a non-league bout on Wednesday, November 15. The Griffins come into the bout with a record of 1-3. Oxford Prep lost 54-41 in their recent non-league bout against Kerr-Vance Academy (Henderson, NC)

Next up, the Storm play the South Wake Sabres (Fuquay-Varina, NC) in a bout, on Friday, December 15. New Life Camp will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
