The Groves Falcons ice hockey team scored 6 points and held the host Wayne Memorial Zebras to 0 in the Falcons non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Falcons now hold a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clarenceville for a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 4.
With the defeat, Wayne Memorial moves to 0-2 on the season. The Zebras travel to Glenn (Westland, MI) to play the Rockets in a bout on Saturday, November 16. The Rockets go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Glenn won 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Hope Christian Academy (Westland, MI)
