The Grace Academy Lions (Matthews, NC) basketball triumphed over the visiting HOPE Academy Royals (Concord, NC), 94-30 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Lions (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Union Day (Weddington, NC). The Gryphons come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record.
In their next game, the Royals encounter the The Fletcher School Falcons (Charlotte, NC) in a Metro Area battle, on Tuesday, November 18. HOPE Academy will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Falcons enter the battle with a 0-2 record after their 79-11 non-league loss to Walnut Grove Christian (Fort Mill, SC).
