In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Prince Avenue Christian Wolverines basketball team scored a big 69-39 triumph over the Mount Pisgah Christian Patriots.
The Wolverines (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Cedar Shoals (Athens, GA). The Jaguars enter the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Cedar Shoals overwhelmed Jackson County (Jefferson, GA), 90-33, in a non-league match.
The Patriots now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Providence Christian Academy for a non-league match on Tuesday, November 18. Mount Pisgah Christian will face a Storm squad coming off a 70-60 non-league loss to Mt. Bethel Christian Academy (Marietta, GA). The Storm record now stands at 0-2.
