The Shades Valley Mounties basketball team scored 44 points and limited the visiting Vestavia Hills Rebels to 36 in the Mounties non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Mounties now have a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Gadsden City for a non-league game on Saturday, November 15. Shades Valley will confront a Titans team coming off a 76-46 non-league win over Fairfield (Fairfield, AL). The Titans record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, Vestavia Hills drops to 0-2 on the year. The Rebels host Oxford (Oxford, AL) to clash with the Yellow Jackets in a non-league outing on Tuesday, November 18. The Yellow Jackets enter the outing with a record of 1-0. Oxford won 59-56 in their recent non-league game against Austin (Decatur, AL)
