In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Conroe Tigers basketball team scored a big 65-31 win over the Alvin Yellowjackets.
The Tigers (4-0) will now prepare for their match against La Marque (La Marque, TX). The Cougars enter the non-league match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, La Marque overwhelmed Lee (Baytown, TX), 57-44, in a non-league match.
The Yellowjackets now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Texas City for a non-league match on Tuesday, November 18. Alvin will battle a Stingarees team coming off a 75-16 non-league loss to Clear Creek (League City, TX). The Stingarees record now stands at 0-3.
