The Huntsville Hornets basketball team (Huntsville, TX), was tipped 48-43 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host La Vega Pirates (Waco, TX)

The Pirates (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against North Crowley (Fort Worth, TX). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, North Crowley edged Summer Creek (Houston, TX), 46-38, in a non-league challenge.
