In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Los Fresnos Falcons basketball team scored a good 54-42 triumph over the Rio Grande City Rattlers.

The Falcons (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Vela (Edinburg, TX). The Sabercats enter the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Vela notched a victory over Cigarroa (Laredo, TX), 42-41, in a non-league match.

The Rattlers now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Madison for a non-league match on Friday, November 14. Rio Grande City will face a Mavericks squad coming off a 76-18 non-league loss to Warren (San Antonio, TX). The Mavericks record now stands at 0-2.
