The Wildcats now have a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to Gilmer for a non-league game on Thursday, November 13. Whitehouse will confront a Buckeyes team coming off a 58-28 non-league loss to Hallsville (Hallsville, TX). The Buckeyes record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Mount Vernon falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Tigers host Cooper (Cooper, TX) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league outing on Thursday, November 13. The Bulldogs enter the outing with a record of 0-2. Cooper lost 45-40 in their recent non-league outing against Prairiland (Pattonville, TX)
