The Lincoln-Way West Warriors basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Providence Catholic Celtics to 58 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Monday.
The Warriors now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Joliet Central for a non-league contest on Wednesday, November 16. Lincoln-Way West will battle a Steelmen team coming off a 43-41 non-league win over Minooka (Minooka, IL). The Steelmen record now stands at 1-0.
The Celtics (0-1) will now prepare for their bout against Minooka (Minooka, IL). The Indians come into the non-league bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Minooka was edged by Joliet Central (Joliet, IL), 43-41, in a non-league bout.
