Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences Vipers (Granada Hills, CA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Arleta Mustangs (Arleta, CA), 38-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Vipers host Castaic (Castaic, CA) to play the Coyotes in a non-league bout on Monday, November 28. The Coyotes go into the bout with a record of 0-1.

Next up, the Mustangs play the San Fernando Tigers (San Fernando, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, November 16. Arleta will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
