Abilene Eagles (Abilene, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Midland Bulldogs (Midland, TX), 56-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Abilene improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Llano (Llano, TX) to confront the Yellowjackets in a non-league challenge on Saturday, November 18. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Lubbock Westerners (Lubbock, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, November 17. Midland will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
