California High School Basketball - Bakersfield can't hold off South

The South Spartans basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Bakersfield Drillers to 58 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Spartans now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Del Oro for a non-league contest on Thursday, November 16.
The Drillers (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Stockdale (Bakersfield, CA). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Stockdale nudged Tehachapi (Tehachapi, CA), 78-45, in a non-league contest.
