The Grant Cougars basketball team (Dry Prong, LA), was overwhelmed 76-42 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Buckeye Panthers (Buckeye, LA)
The Panthers now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tioga for a non-league battle on Friday, November 17. Buckeye will confront a Indians team coming off a 73-53 non-league win over Block (Jonesville, LA). The Indians record now stands at 1-0.
The Cougars (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Doyline (Doyline, LA). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Doyline trounced Stanley (Logansport, LA), 58-47, in a non-league battle.
