Southwest Dragons (San Antonio, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Edison Golden Bears (San Antonio, TX), 86-31 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Southwest upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Del Rio (Del Rio, TX) to play the Rams in a non-league bout on Friday, November 17. The Rams come into the bout with a record of 0-2. Del Rio lost 76-44 in their recent non-league bout against San Angelo Central (San Angelo, TX)

Next up, the Golden Bears play the Boerne Greyhounds (Boerne, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, November 16. Edison will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Greyhounds come into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 60-56 non-league win over Holmes (San Antonio, TX).
