Highlands Owls (San Antonio, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Pleasanton Eagles (Pleasanton, TX), 43-35 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Highlands upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Owls travel to Boerne-Champion (Boerne, TX) to clash with the Chargers in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 16. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Boerne-Champion won 52-35 in their recent non-league bout against Southwest Legacy (Von Ormy, TX)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Harlandale Indians (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, November 16. Pleasanton will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 89-63 non-league win over Burbank (San Antonio, TX).
