The Vela Sabercats (Edinburg, TX) basketball crushed the visiting La Joya Coyotes (La Joya, TX), 66-38 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Sabercats (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Clear Lake (Houston, TX). The Falcons go into the non-league test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Clear Lake walloped Lamar (Houston, TX), 65-57, in a non-league test.

The Coyotes now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Jefferson for a non-league test on Thursday, November 16.
