Meridian Wildcats (Meridian, MS) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Terry Bulldogs (Terry, MS), 48-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Meridian upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Wildcats host Morton (Morton, MS) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Monday, November 20. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 1-1.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Crystal Springs Tigers (Crystal Springs, MS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 17. Terry will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 80-54 non-league loss to Port Gibson (Port Gibson, MS).
