Texas High School Basketball - United tipped by Nixon

The Nixon Mustangs basketball team scored 61 points and held the host United Longhorns to 56 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oak Cliff Faith Family Academy for a non-league contest on Thursday, November 16. Nixon will meet a Eagles team coming off a 62-61 non-league win over Lancaster (Lancaster, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 1-1.

The Longhorns (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Weslaco (Weslaco, TX). The Panthers enter the non-league game with a 0-0 record.
