With the victory, Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Pace (Brownsville, TX) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 16. The Vikings come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Cowboys play the St. Joseph Academy Bloodhounds (Brownsville, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 17. Porter will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Bloodhounds come into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 61-50 non-league win over IDEA Edinburg College Prep (Edinburg, TX).
