The Western Hills Cougars basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the host Polytechnic Parrots to 41 in the Cougars non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Cougars now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Turner for a non-league contest on Friday, November 17. Western Hills will battle a Lions team coming off a 50-35 non-league win over Jefferson (Dallas, TX). The Lions record now stands at 2-0.

The Parrots (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Uplift Ascend Prep (Fort Worth, TX). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Uplift Ascend Prep prevailed over Uplift Mighty Prep (Fort Worth, TX), 82-27, in a league contest.
