Riverside Rebels (Lake City, AR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Valley View Blazers (Jonesboro, AR), 53-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Riverside upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Rebels travel to Corning (Corning, AR) to play the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Friday, November 17. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Corning lost 40-26 in their recent non-league bout against Buffalo Island Central (Monette, AR)

Next up, the Blazers play the Osceola Seminoles (Osceola, AR) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, November 16. Valley View will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
