Sycamore War Eagles (Pleasant View, TN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Springfield Yellow Jackets (Springfield, TN), 59-54 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Sycamore upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The War Eagles travel to Greenbrier (Greenbrier, TN) to play the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Friday, November 17. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Greenbrier lost 73-28 in their recent non-league bout against Pope John Paul II (Hendersonville, TN)

Next up, the Yellow Jackets play the White House-Heritage Patriots (White House, TN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, November 16. Springfield will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 54-52 non-league win over Harpeth (Kingston Springs, TN).
