The Covenant Classical Warriors (Concord, NC) basketball nipped the visiting University Christian Barracudas (Hickory, NC), 41-34 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Warriors (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Metrolina Christian Academy (Indian Trail, NC). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Metrolina Christian Academy got by Covenant Day (Matthews, NC), 63-55, in a non-league test.
The Barracudas now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Uwharrie Charter for a non-league contest on Monday, November 20. University Christian will meet a Eagles team coming off a 50-42 non-league loss to East Rowan (Salisbury, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 3-1.
