    • Texas High School Basketball - Sundown overwhelms Denver City

    Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Sundown Roughnecks (Sundown, TX) and the visiting Denver City Mustangs (Denver City, TX), saw Sundown's basketball squad wallop Denver City by a tally of 70-46.

    With the victory, Sundown improves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Roughnecks host Littlefield (Littlefield, TX) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Monday, November 20. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 3-1. Littlefield won 56-32 in their recent non-league challenge against Roosevelt (Lubbock, TX)

    Next up, the Mustangs confront the Lake View Chiefs (San Angelo, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, November 17. Denver City will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Chiefs come into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 70-23 non-league loss to Lamesa (Lamesa, TX).
