The South Spartans routed the visiting Fountain Valley Barons basketball team by a final score of 47-19 in Tuesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Spartans face the Santa Clara Saints (Oxnard, CA) in a non-league game, on Monday, November 20. South will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Saints enter the game with a 0-1 record after their 56-19 non-league loss to Burbank (Burbank, CA).
The Barons (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against El Dorado (Placentia, CA). The Golden Hawks come into the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, El Dorado trounced South (Torrance, CA), 41-33, in a non-league battle.
