The Iota Bulldogs basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Sulphur Golden Tors to 44 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Edmund for a non-league contest on Thursday, November 16. Iota will meet a Fighting Blue Jays team coming off a 42-39 non-league loss to Mamou (Mamou, LA). The Fighting Blue Jays record now stands at 0-1.
The Golden Tors (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against DeRidder (DeRidder, LA). The Dragons enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, DeRidder ran past Many (Many, LA), 52-48, in a non-league contest.
