The Natchez Bulldogs basketball team (Natchez, MS), was nudged 40-36 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Lawrence County Cougars (Monticello, MS)

The Cougars now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host McComb for a non-league battle on Friday, November 17. Lawrence County will battle a Tigers team coming off a 72-47 non-league loss to Jim Hill (Jackson, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 0-2.

The Bulldogs (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Jefferson County (Fayette, MS). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Jefferson County was nudged by Bogue Chitto (Bogue Chitto, MS), 59-22, in a non-league battle.
