Neuqua Valley Wildcats (Naperville, IL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Trinity Blazers (River Forest, IL), 74-69 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Neuqua Valley upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Nazareth Academy (LaGrange Park, IL) to play the Roadrunners in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 16. The Roadrunners come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Blazers play the Tinley Park Titans (Tinley Park, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, November 18. Trinity will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Titans come into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 50-48 non-league win over Lisle (Lisle, IL).
