In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Springs Valley Blackhawks (French Lick, IN) basketball squad felled the host North Daviess Cougars (Elnora, IN), by a margin of 35-22.

The Blackhawks (3-0) will now prepare for their outing against Rock Creek Academy (Sellersburg, IN). The Lions go into the non-league outing with a 0-6 record. In their last outing, Rock Creek Academy was beaten by Crawford County (Marengo, IN), 65-54, in a non-league outing.

The Cougars now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Linton-Stockton for a Southwestern Indiana outing on Saturday, November 18. North Daviess will clash with a Miners squad coming off a 32-28 league win over North Central (Farmersburg, IN). The Miners record now stands at 4-1.
