Virginia High School Basketball - Roanoke Valley Christian overwhelmed by New Covenant

The New Covenant Gryphons basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the visiting Roanoke Valley Christian EAGLES to 17 in the Gryphons non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Gryphons now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lynchburg HomeSchool for a non-league contest on Friday, November 17. New Covenant will battle a Patriots team coming off a 62-47 league win over Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy (Moneta, VA). The Patriots record now stands at 1-0.

The EAGLES (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Eastern Montgomery (Elliston, VA). The Mustangs come into the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
